MacQueen Alumni Center
Project Portfolio
For the first time since its founding in 1963, the University of South Alabama has a permanent home for its more than 87,000 alumni. Located in the center of campus, across from Moulton Tower and Alumni Plaza, the 15,000-square-foot facility houses the Chief Calvin W. McGhee Grand Ballroom, McKinney Family Greek Plaza, USA Foundation Lobby, Gordon and Geri Moulton Board Room and administrative offices (South Magazine).
McAleer’s was given the opportunity to help furnish this beautiful space and we are so proud of how it turned out.
The University of South Alabama Foundation Lobby greets alumni with a large, open seating area and cozy fireplace—an ideal setting for receptions, small events and game-day activities (South Magazine). It includes Monterrey Lounge Seating from National Office Furniture and traditional occasional chairs and tables from JSI Furniture.
The Grand Ballroom, a state of the art event space, features durable yet comfortable banquet chairs and tables from MityLite.
The Moulton Board Room consists of a grand conference table from Jasper Desk. It seats 28 elegant conference chairs from National Office Furniture‘s Arlington collection.
The Office of Alumni Relations staff is also housed in the MacQueen Alumni Center. Their lobby contains Vitrola lounge seating from Global Furniture Group which reflect 19th century French Empire style.
We are so happy to have helped furnish the University of South Alabama National Alumni Association’s new home on campus. Go Jags!
