- The heartwood of the Guanacaste tree is a medium to dark chocolate brown, often with a reddish hue.
- Darker streaks of brown are sometimes present
- Guanacaste grows from Mexico to the Northern part of South America and is one of the largest growing trees, yeilding slabs that can be up to 8 foot in diameter.
- Each Live Edge piece will be unique in color and grain pattern. Small imperfections such as cracks and pin knots are to be expected and only add to the character of the piece.
