We love this Queen Anne table from our Used Furniture Showroom and think that it would be the perfect candidate for a modern makeover.  Although it is beautiful in its current state, imagine what it would look like if painted bright orange!  Ok, so maybe orange isn’t the new black or everyone’s taste, but a pop of color really modernizes this traditional table.  Add some funky white chairs and your room will look straight out of a magazine.

This table is much more elaborate, but we love the red and grey color scheme.  This green table really brightens up the room.  The black and yellow combo is gorgeous!

How about red?  Or green?  Or black with brightly painted chairs?  The possibilities are endless!  Maybe shabby chic is more your style.  Chalk paint is all the rage right now and would be a great choice of medium for a project like this.

Use white paint and distressing for a shabby chic look.  This look could be accomplished with chalk paint and a dark wax.  We love that they left the table top unpainted in this one.
